The Eat and Be Well program is a cleansing/detoxifying program. However, sometimes people want to thoroughly cleanse or do a "fast". There are so many types of fasting programs out there... some are not so safe for you! In my years as a Clinical Nutritionist, I want to share with you what I believe to be the best cleansing and detoxifying program. It's called the "Master Cleanser" and you can order the book through Amazon.com. This is for those of you who are SERIOUS about cleansing and detoxifying. Expect to spend part of your mornings in your bathroom. It's also important you read how to come OFF the cleanse! Don't just start eating food right away! On a personal note, the doctor doesn't recommend vitamins. That's fine DURING the cleanse. I suggest looking for books that are lower in carbohydrates (NOT only protein). Your carbohydrates should come from vegetables and some fruits. Fiber is an important component to your eating program.
